DESCRIPTION

Initial adventure with transportation to remote mangroves around the island. On board the canoes will visit the refuge of flora and fauna. It is rowed for 1 and 1/2 hours, later walking on the beach , Coffe, Fruit snacks and juices natural water juices are served.

After meeting your guide at the meeting point, initial adventure with transportation to remote mangroves around the island. Aboard canoes wetlands are visited within the Refuge Flora and Fauna, a national protected area by the federal government, paddle for 1 and 1/2 hours, walk on the beach and coastal scrub.

This adventure allows wide range of visitors, especially those who have a passion for the outdoors and an interest in learning about wildlife and Tropical Island environments.

The wildlife refuge has a code of practice to minimize the negative social, environmental and economic impacts of their visit. Remember, you are a visitor, be culturally sensitive and respect local customs, be sure to leave the area cleaner than when you found it. Do not take anything from nature. Do not disturb wildlife.

MUSEUM OF THE ISLAND
For hotel guests who are staying in Cozumel, or for people who come from Playa del Carmen or for the cruise passengers Meeting point is the Museo de la Isla de Cozumel, at Av., Rafael Melgar between 4 and 6 Street, in the center of the town of San Miguel.
You will receive your confirmation via e-mail with precise instructions to reach the Meeting Point.

WHAT TO BRING

Backpack, long pants, long sleeves and closed tennis shoes, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent, binoculars, camera, money for photos, gratuities or other beverages.

Daily departures.
The departure time is at 8:00 a.m.
The schedule can be flexible, but needs confirmation, contact us via email.

Notes:
i. We recommend to pay the balance of services in cash when you arrive to the meeting point.
The deposit is paid online through Pay Pal.
The balance in cash either in USD or in pesos at the exchange rate of the day dollars. We also have credit card payment but then the tour operator will make the conversion to pesos and 7% added to the total charge to cover fees and commissions, this means it will cost more.
ii. The maximum weight of the participant cannot exceed 100 kg or 220 pounds, minimum age of 12 years. This expedition is not suitable for people with physical disabilities or diseases cardio - pulmonary.
